A combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design

At Artefly, we believe that a quality furniture cover can transform your home. But how does such a coating actually come about? Join us on the journey from design to final product.

Preparation of design and editing plans

At the beginning of every cover is an idea. Our designers carefully select modern patterns, color combinations and funny motifs. The goal is to create a design that fits beautifully into your interior. Each pattern is original and created by us. This makes us proud to offer something unique. And as for the editing plans? We tuned them down to the last detail. The advantage is that Ikea adheres to a dimensional standard, so all our covers fit the Strandmon armchair and the Klippan sofa perfectly.

Digital printing and preparation of cotton yardage

Once the design is complete, it's time to print. In cooperation with our related factory, we print on a large-format digital printer. We use a high-gram metered cotton fabric that is tested as a cover material. The whole process is thoroughly prepared. First, the fabric is ironed, washed, dried and stretched. It is then printed, the colors are baked, the fabric is washed and ironed.

Sewing covers

When the fabric is ready, it is time to sew. Thanks to skilled Czech seamstresses, we have a tailored cut. The fabric is carefully divided into individual parts and precisely sewn on a sewing machine. The cover is then tested. In the case of Strandmon, we assign piping and the necessary zipper. For the Klippan, we also place a velcro fastener for better tensioning of the final cover.

Quality control, printing and final packaging

And finally, before the cover arrives at your home, it goes through a thorough inspection. Each cover is honestly checked in terms of color, quality of fabric and print. The cover is stretched, tested and then packed for our customers.
